Leader of the War Mage Rebellion — magic made flesh, a dozen times re-sleeved — whose men tore King Stalwart apart and took the Gate on the ninth floor, and who on the tenth waits in the back of Hungry Eyes in an older elf's body with a purple milkshake: five war mages are left, the Pineapple Cabaret they lived in is infested, and the crawlers are their third choice of fighting force. He lies about two teams, loses a testicle to Elle and a nose to Carl, and says he will leave the floor soon. 'You are a fucking idiot, Carl.'

His account under Imani's shield is the book's exposition: the depleted reserves, Herot and Menerva, the framework, the seventeenth floor, the Pineapple Cabaret, the smite rule, the Scavenger's Daughter — and a lie about two teams that costs him his nose, after Elle has cost him a testicle. He leaves the floor in chat: 'Stop messaging me'. The AI calls his kind the skeevy cousin who might become a chef or a mass murderer.

'Hey, underwear boy': they never wanted the castle, only to test the potions and find the Scavenger's daughter, and she is with them now; Agatha is the enemy of everything, to be found on the tenth (B7 ch. 78).
