The panicking caprids: 'We shall manifest the Epicure' (B8 ch. 29). Prepotente: 'The Midnight Epicure protects all prey animals by destroying all existence after unleashing all the consumed back into the galaxy' (B8 ch. 70). The Epicure heads the party's float as a symbol of hope and vengeance (B8 ch. 92); 'I have filed a formal complaint with the Epicure!' (B8 ch. 98).
